In Europa wurden 14 Millionen Menschen infiziert und 350.000 Menschen sind an oder mit dem Virus gestorben. Unsere Gesundheitssysteme werden bis an ihre Grenzen getestet, die Wirtschaft befindet sich mitten in einer schweren Rezession, Armut und Arbeitslosigkeit nehmen wieder zu, das kulturelle Leben ist stark eingeschr\u00e4nkt, religi\u00f6se Angebote werden in vielen L\u00e4ndern, zum Teil \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfig, eingeschr\u00e4nkt.
